Sayyed Fire Integration
Quality policy

Quality is what survives the commissioning test

A fire system is bought once and depended on for twenty years, usually on the worst day the building has. This page says how we work so that it holds.

The policy

Quality is built in at every stage, not inspected in at the end

Quality is designed in at the survey, specified in the BOQ, bought from authorised distributors, installed by our own people, proved by test, and kept by the service visits that follow handover. No stage is treated as the one where quality is added, because a system is only as good as the weakest of them.

What that means in practice: the site decides the system rather than the catalogue, equipment is ISI-marked and supplied with its datasheet and test certificate, and nothing is handed over without a commissioning record the owner can give to the authority.

How it is kept

Seven practices behind that

The parent site lists these as reasons to choose the group. They are written here as what we do, so each one can be checked against the job.

Fifteen years of sitesOffices, hospitals, data centres, factories and restaurants. The occupancy is what changes the design, and it is the part a drawing alone does not teach.
The site decides the specificationRiser condition, floor count, stored commodity and occupancy class are measured before anything is priced. A specification arrived at any other way is a guess with a BOQ attached.
One scope, one contractorSurvey to AMC without subcontracting out of our scope, so there is one drawing set, one BOQ and one party answerable at commissioning.
Equipment bought from authorised distributorsISI-marked where a mark exists, delivered against a stamped BOQ with datasheets and test certificates attached. We do not fit what we cannot document.
Stock held rather than orderedThe group carries stock, so a programme is not held up waiting on supply — which is where most of the delay on a fire package comes from.
Priced line by lineA BOQ you can compare item against item, not a lump sum. If a line looks wrong, it can be argued about before the work starts.
Proved, then recordedPressure, flow and loop tests witnessed and written down, ending in a signed commissioning record. An untested system is an assumption.
The order of the work

Where each check sits

The same six stages run on every project, whatever its size.

  1. 01SurveySite walk-through, riser measurement, occupancy and hazard classification.
  2. 02DesignHydraulic calculations and drawings prepared for consultant and fire-brigade approval.
  3. 03SupplyEquipment from authorised distributors, delivered against a stamped BOQ.
  4. 04InstallFloor-by-floor execution planned around occupancy.
  5. 05TestPressure, flow and loop tests witnessed, with a signed commissioning record.
  6. 06MaintainInspection, extinguisher refilling and drill support under an annual contract.

Supply and authorisation
We buy genuine equipment from authorised distributors. Where a manufacturer authorisation exists in writing we name it and attach the document; everywhere else the site says exactly what it means — we supply the product.

We take over maintenance on installations we did not put in. The first visit is an inspection against the code, written up as a list you can act on.
