Delivery
Delivery is quoted once we know where it is going
Fire equipment is heavy, bulky and sometimes pressurised, so a flat delivery rate would be wrong for almost every order. This page says how it is worked out.
How it works
Address first, then a delivery price
Catalogue prices are for the goods aloneDelivery is not included in any price shown on this site and is not added at checkout. It is quoted on the confirmation call, once we know the address, the quantity and whether there is access for a vehicle.
Mumbai and the metropolitan regionMost deliveries in Mumbai and MMR go on our own vehicle, which is also how a same-week delivery date is possible. Collection from Shop No. 6, A Wing, Gulraj Tower, Kurla East is always an option and always free.
Outside the regionSent by transporter, priced at cost against the weight and the destination. We tell you the carrier and the expected transit before you agree to it.
Site deliveriesTell us the floor, the access and the hours the site will accept a delivery. A load that arrives when the gate is shut is a second delivery charge, and it is the commonest avoidable one.
Timing and receipt
When it arrives and what to do when it does
Lead time is confirmed on the callStocked items usually move within a few working days of a confirmed order. Anything ordered in against your specification takes as long as the supplier takes, and we tell you that figure rather than an optimistic one.
Check it before you signCount the packages against the delivery note and look at the outer packing. If a box is damaged, write that on the transporter’s copy before signing — a clean signature is treated as an undamaged delivery by every carrier.
Risk passes on deliveryThe goods become yours to look after once they are delivered to the address you gave, or once you collect them. Until then any transit loss is ours to resolve.
Paperwork comes with itDatasheets and test certificates are supplied with the equipment, not afterwards. If anything is missing from the delivery, tell us and we send it the same day.

Floor, access and delivery hours are the three things that change the number.
