Nothing to wipe off afterwards
A clean-agent portable discharges a gas that puts the fire out and then simply evaporates. It is non-conductive, so it is safe on live equipment, and it is non-corrosive and residue-free, so the rack, the board or the instrument it was discharged over is still serviceable afterwards. Against a powder discharge in the same cabinet, that is usually the difference between an incident and a replacement.
It is the natural pairing for a room already protected by a fixed clean-agent system — the fixed system handles the room, the portable handles the cabinet somebody is standing in front of. It also has an advantage over CO₂ in an occupied space: no frost hazard at the horn and a lower discharge concentration, which is why control rooms and laboratories often specify it.
It costs more per unit than powder or CO₂, so it is specified where the contents justify it rather than everywhere. We survey the rooms, specify the mix against the equipment in them, mount and sign the units, and cover the annual check, refilling and hydrostatic test cycle with a per-unit record under the maintenance contract.

Send the drawings or the BOQ and we will price it line by line. Most enquiries start with a site visit, because the site decides the system — not the catalogue.
